You've seen crappy camera-phone photos and lots of iterations, so this might not be as exciting to you as it is to us, but here are the finalized floor plans.
First floor:
Second floor:In each case, north is up, and the front door/street is on the right side.
We're now getting some preliminary cost feedback from our general contractor, then we'll move into construction documents over the next couple of weeks. We're still hoping to break ground sometime around July 4.

Looks amazing! I can actually start visualizing it now. I can't wait to see it all come together.
looks really good!! i'm curious, will the be providing a 3D image of it for reference? if not, that's a shame..
really like the look and feel of it! i can only imagine how excited you guys must be about the project.
You know you were on Your Heart Out, right? How cool!
This looks great. I don't understand the entryway. Is that a closet or a couch by the door?
My other question is where are you going to put your Christmas decorations? Is the utility room big enough for storage?
Oh, I get it. Fireplace.
We can never have children — Christmas decorations are too important to give up the second and third bedrooms.
Sad, I know.
Ok. But it's a real question. Assume you have two little mistakes who can't share a room. Or maybe 3.
Todd,
Valid question and storage is missing from this plan. In the short term, the storage will be in one of the extra bedrooms, but as we are able to build the garage, we plan on building extra space there that will serve as storage. We will in all likelihood be okay for at least a few years and hopefully by the time it becomes a problem we will have built our garage.
