    Now taking requests

All of our energy over the next couple of days is focused on closing our loan and then moving in. In the meantime, we know that there are quite a few details about the house that we haven't shared (lighting, plumbing fixtures, finishes, etc. etc.). It's not a deliberate omission — we've just been incredibly focused on the big picture instead of documenting the details.

If there is anything you'd like to see photos of or get an explanation for in the coming weeks, please speak up in the comments and we'll do our best to oblige. And if you're in the SLC area and would like to see the place in person, we're pretty open to tours.

I love your style, the paint colors are perfect (need the source and name), the duct work - love it! are your ceilings 9 foot or less? more pictures!! Lighting pics would be great. I love following your blog and I am so wanting to see more. I would love a tour but I live too far away on Vancouver Island. I just wanted you to know that it looks amazing. Great job!

Seriously you two could post photos of your silverware drawer and I'd be thrilled and likely ooh and ahh. Since you want specifics, I'm putting in requests for the staircase, the concrete floors, closeups of where wood meets metal on the outside of the house, and wherever your Eames lounger ends up :)

I'd like to see finished bathrooms and closets. Is that weird?

    Happy Holidays.

Do you recommend bamboo floors? We are thinking of getting some, but do you think they can handle kitchen traffic?

@Suzanne - I'd recommend them, but shop them well, there are some that are definitely inferior quality and scratch and dent too easily. I wish interceramic still made their "printed bamboo" tile that we have in our kitchen floor. They do however still make the one called "Colonial wood" that has a hand scrapped look to it even though it's tile.

With that said, i'm just looking forward to pictures of the interiors with furniture in it. looking forward to seeing the rooms too and some more info about the stairs. Hopefully the offer for tours is still available if/when we drive through Utah :)
