DIY warrior
This story from The New York Times (registration sometimes required) gave me a rare opportunity — to thank my lucky stars that I no longer live in Manhattan. We couldn't do this process in that city.

That was a cool article. I can't believe he did all that for so little. I love how humble he was about the whole thing! Um...and I wonder how wife is going to feel when, 9 months pregnant, she's got to haul herself up to the loft that didn't really look like the most comfortable thing to sleep on.
